Hey everyone, thanks for stopping by. So you want to know who this AnothaiDara person is, eh? Well after 3 years of fansubbing I’m ready to get a little more personal. Wait, has it been 3 years already? Sometimes it feels like only yesterday when I started, but sometimes it feels like I’ve been doing this forever — perhaps too long? I say that because this is longest running hobby I’ve ever held (other than drama watching, but that’s technically more of a lifestyle than hobby in my book). My attention span and interest in things usually don’t last that long. Ever heard of the saying “Jack of all trades, master of none”? Well, that’s me in a nutshell. Aside from my professional career (yes, hard to believe I actually have one of those), every thing else in my life is pretty much an experiment.
There I go getting sidetracked, yet again. Anyway, I’m a simple girl. I don’t like real-life drama, which is probably one of the main reasons why I’m addicted to the small-screen drama. I was inspired to sub lakorns (Thai dramas) simply because I wanted to share them with those who don’t speak Thai. You’d think my list of completed projects would be much longer, but it’s hard stuff, yo; especially since I was a one-woman team until I joined forces with the lovely Chobling. One thing led to another and the rest, as they say, is history. Check out my FAQ section if you still want to know more.

This is such a wonderful site and I’m so happy I found it. I’ve traveled throughout Thailand extensively and have grown to love Thai music. I’m more inclined to the Rock side: Silly Fools, Ebola, Big Ass, Clash, Hangman, Retrospect… But I would have to say, my favorite voice in the whole world is Thanida Thamwimon, known to the world as Da Endorphine. I would love it if you could translate more of her songs (I LOVE THEM ALL). You also mentioned you love Clash, and I’m surprised you haven’t translated “Nao.” That is one of my favorite Clash songs. Here’s a few songs I love and hopefully you like them and one day when you have time, can translate them to English.

As you can see, Clash has a ton of songs. lol. I do plan on subbing as many as I can. The ones I’ve done so far are either by request or a sudden interest to sub them. Nao is a great song and I hope I can get to it soon. I will do the other songs when I get a little further into my lakorn project.
Da Endorphine definitely tops my list for female vocalist. ^_^

Thanks for all the sub! really appreciate it! just some quick random questions though..um…sometimes when i download songs or lakorns, i was just wondering what does ‘AD’ and ‘HS’ stands for? for example ‘FCS 2.2 (AD)’ or ‘Jai Rao (HS)
It doesn’t mean anything special; AD=AnothaiDara, and HS=Hardsubbed. I just use it for reference/naming sake.

Sorry for this late reply. Anothai and Dara are the names of the two main characters in LK. Anothai means the sun and Dara means star. The only other drama I have up for dl is RLSR. I would consider the videos to be MQ. Hope that helps. –AD

Thank You for the english transliteration on the music video for Kon Tum-Ma-Dah. I noticed that in the one made for use with the clip from Sood Sanae Ha, that they made an error and used a line of the lyrics twice, [Kae-Kon-Dern-Din-Kon-Tum-Ma-Dah], instead of just using it once and following with [mai-mee-rah-kah-mai-mee-koon-kah-dai]. The reason i noticed it was i tried to sing it [in only understand english], and the second line in the Sood video didnt sound exactly like the first. I wonder if they will ever fix that. Also if you dont me asking, do you know if anyone will finish the english subs for the Sood Sanae Ha series posted on YouTube? currently full episodes have subs from episode 1-10, but episode 11-16 are incomplete. Thanking you again for the english subs on the music video.
